Business Analysts are the first people who will dive into the "reality". The consultant team will tell the boasting way of solutions; while the clients would need them "black and white". It is the business analysts' responsibility to observe and arrive at the solution doing best justice to the entire stakeholder community: Clients, Consultants, Developers, Quality Analysts, and of course self company's profit. Their documents play a major role throughout the software development life cycle, and towards the proposal for next assignments.
Business Analysis documents are aimed to provide a complete research reports to understand business problems. There are various types and can also be called as technical documents.
The major difference between a business analyst and a technical writer is that, the technical writer prepares document after the development of the project, while the business analyst initiates the projects and owns it till its delivery point.
